I have always pushed guys to use FAOL lessons and while it's flies they still tie with the same materials as we do plus a lot more. Still the way they do things is right and maybe if you try looking at their step by step lessons you can pick up some help? Give it a try, just click on Fly Tying, then Beginning tying, maybe skip a couple of the tool lessons if you know them, but then just look for lessons that use materials you want to use.

Those jigs are really nice. I’m glad you stuck with it. Hadn’t seen you post any recently and thought you may have quit.... but I “see” you’ve got more important things going on.

I know you boys catch fish regularly and glad you got your motor issue figgered out.

    Toodaloo.

Play with em when you can to make em how YOU think looks good.
Otherwise fish what you’ve made and catch fish and have fun. While it’s fun to catch on what you’ve made, ... it’s not the lure, it’s figuring the fish.

That could be all bad info though.
