    Both - cast and yo yo or vererticl jigging. When they don't want to feed it can trigger bites when jigs fail.

    It’s similar. Cable steer trolling motor is a necessity for my style. Have to be able to make quick turns. Can’t do it with remote steer models. When I turn to the left, I can see my baits as I glide across the brush. I use twelve and ten foot rods, not the fourteen and sixteens. As Russ said, the handheld short rod is the ticket.
