Don't want to hijack his thread, but here is a link to give you a start. Lots of reading but good info.

Thanks for the compliments.
Triple towing is legal in 28 states, mostly the center of the US. It is illegal pretty much in all east coast states, including Florida. Also illegal in Oregon and Washington. Cali requires a special permit of some type.
The wife went tent camping with me twice on 30+ years of marriage. She wanted flush toilets, private hot showers, and ac. Gotta admit the AC is nice to have. Beats dragging the cot out of the tent to take an afternoon nap in 90+ degree summer temps.
Honestly, the towing isn't bad. The truck handles it great. Stearing is the same with or without the trailer, except turns in town. I need just a bit more space on right turns. If the camper will clear the curb, so will the boat. I have a reverse mounted camera on the back of the 5th wheel that stays on constantly when the parking lights are on. I use it to back up to the boat, and while traveling to see behind me. It's my wireless rearview mirror. Another option that came with the camper.
As for braking, the 5th wheel has dual axkes and both have electric brakes. The Ford integrated controller can handle up to 4 sets of electric trailer brakes. Granted stopping takes more time. Plus the twin turboss add engine braking. Fully loaded truck, camper, and boat I'm under 15K total.
The adventure continues.

I currently tent camp in the winter. Yes while there is snow on the ground. Absolute best time to camp is during a snow storm. The woods are surreal. You can literally hear the snowflakes land on the tent. Plus there are no bugs, snakes, and only a occasional bear or two. Even fewer other people camping. I get the whole park to myself. Awesome!
I have to be honest though, I am looking forward to propane heat in the winter.
Plus I tend to camp/fish early March, as soon as the ice melts off. Also can be the worst time to camp. I hate camping in ice storms and avoid it at all costs.
