On my last outing I had a tool in a jet boat trying it out in large circles (200 ac lake mind you, full of standing timber). He left I started catching them the shadow came. SMH

Had some on blue mountain do it to me also. I had a marker out for a brush pile I was fishing. I got busy trying to get a hook out of a fish and drifted off my marker. I look up and those guys are trolling right by the marker I had been on for over an hour shadow

I don't know if you can call it shadowing or not, but many times when I'm trolling crankbaits I'll record a route with my trolling motor so I can go back and forth on it. There will be places on that route where I catch fish more often. It's not unusual for me to get to the end of the route and turn around to go back through and there will be boats setting on places where I caught fish. Of course they probably thought I had left when I trolled on by. I usually just go around them and get back on my route.

That's just weird. I think I would have to run a snagline for them to encounter

You haven't ran your creepy critter off yet? Make a lap around him a time or two a yell real loud and he find someone else to chase maybe
