No idea what they pay to lease it. But Deepwater will never make money from it.
Never work.... some kid with a chain and a pickup truck will steal the box. Prolly cost more to fix the box than what the take would be.

    It's only gone up.

Follow the link in my post for more info, but basically a day pass is $5 for a vehicle, $12 for a boat. $17 for both.

That's crazy. That would put an end to my little trips in the afternoon when I only have an hour or two to get out.

$130 a year or $17 a day. Guess I would pay it but man that's crazy. So is the boat only price for the ones that are left at the marina?

Not bashing the COE but where does all the boat ramp money go? I think it's up to $5 to launch a boat but I haven't seen any improvements since they built the rest room at Windsor Crossing years ago.
I think the COE could pitch in some gravel at these small ramps at least.

Not sure who did it or where the funds came from but they did put new rock down at the Tebo creek ramp off division road late last fall. Sure helped that launch/ramp and added a little more parking to. I heard they added some to the Deepwater ramp area but I sure could not see any difference in the ramp or area leading to it. Still rough as a cob Deepwater boat ramp 'CooperCreek'

I used the Deepwater ramp today and it was all mowed up nice and people were using the restrooms and having a picnic at the pavilion when I pulled out this afternoon. Talked to some younger guys that were hanging out by their truck cooling off in the shade to take a break from he sun and heat. Great guys. It was super hot out there today. I used my umbrella up front while dipping trees. It helps a lot but when the real feel is over a 100 it's hard to stay cool even under the shade of it. But I think I will go do it tomorrow again anyway.
