    Pad hull? If so you'll like it. My Triton (built before they both started coming out of the same factory) has one and the ride is great. I do like your transom design better than mine.

    Good looking boat. You can't go wrong with Ranger. I have a 2016 Ranger 188C (the crappie version) with a 4-stroke 115 HP Mercury that I bought new. I absolutely love the boat. Like you, I looked and looked before making the purchase, but stayed with Ranger. I've owned two of Ranger glass boats, but opted for aluminum this time. Just got tired of loading the big heavy bassboat by myself. I use my boat a lot......and may even start doing some guiding out of it this year. So far, it has been just the ticket for me.
