My friend wanted me to take him today so I played guide. Not great but ok for summertime lull crappie. Plus he caught 6 catfish. But I threw them back. I didn't feel like cleaning them.

Do you find upper lake is better for crappie? We fish mid-lake often and don't ever seem to get more than one here and there including hitting lots of brush along the channel. Sand bass rule this part of the lake.
