Someone once told me that if they miss the spawn (for whatever reason), their bodies will simply obsorb the eggs. Not sure how true that is. At any rate, it doesn't matter. That one got released in to lake Crisco!!!

One I caught a couple springs ago on a panfish rod. 21"
I caught mine on a nine foot crappie rod. Quite a fight.
