Hello everyone. This is my first post. I fished Eufaula cove Wednesday evening and noticed hundreds of dead fish on the bank everywhere I went. Does anyone have any insight into the fish kill? I hope this post ends up in the right place. Have a good day all.

Welcome Plumber, first I've heard of the fish kill. Doesn't sound good though. What types of fish did you see?

Welcome Plumber1. How many would you say there were, 10-15, 100's?

I'm headed out to eufaula for few days Sunday through Wednesday, and I was hoping someone could help me with a good location on the Southwest part of the lake. I'm taking my two oldest kids (5 & 3 years old). So, if you know of a good spot to take young kids and fish minnows from the bank, please let me know!

I would say there was a dead fish every two feet for as far as we boated. There was not one huge pile anywhere like someone dumped a bunch of fish.

There is a public fishing area at Crowder Park that is safe and secure for small children to fish. Good luck and have fun.

I will second Jim's suggestion on Crowder being the place to take the kids. Good luck!
