These jigs are works of art!!! I just tied some bucktail ones myself and trying them out this weekend. Mine were pretty basic, mainly pinks, whites and chartreuse. I'm eager to see one in particular...pink 1/16th head #4 hook, with chartreuse and pink buck tail and through in some flashabo just for fun.

cm24, try crazy angler. Grandpa Bob used to have stuff super cheap, but he was not very reliable, especially when it came to lead jigs.

Crazy angler is a good source but chenille can be found cheaper at Nimrod's Tackle. Just google search either one and you'll be good to go.Originally Posted by Crappieman24

I just checked Crazy Angler and Nimrod's. 5 yards is $1.49 at Nimrod's and $1.20 at Crazy Angler.

I only checked rayon chenille. A recheck shows Nimrod to be less expensive for most types of chenille. My bad.

Crazy angler and Nimrods for chenille. Sometimes there will be some really good prices on Ebay for the chenille. I get my jigs from Jason's tackle most of the time.
