One of the main reasons I go the Engel, was the fact that it can be completely sealed and latched. No water sloshing out from the store to the boat and boat to your spot. It's a very robust little bait cooler that should last forever. I hope

Just take care of the handle, that's the only thing that I've saw go wrong. Myself and two other buddies bought this cooler, either before it was engle or it's an exact knockoff, had them 12 years or so.ours was just a cooler, not the bait cooler,no hole in the side. The handle is screwed through the lid into the plastic handle, all of ours has lost the handle.they were called " cool liner " when we got ours
HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD
Farbill makes one similar with their pump on it and it's a little cheaper. I have had mine for about 10 years and never a problem I can keep 3 or 4 dozen alive all weekend and never change the water.
Cabela’s on sale now got mine last week
Oh yea BassPro bought Cabela’s last month 6 Billion
Get the 30, use the strap instead of the handle when full, get an onboard aerator and put it underneath the boat deck. Run an air hose to the Engel with enough play in it so you can position wherever in the boat you need.

And if it is on the front deck in ruff water when you are running you get a face full of minner water, built my on several different ways and spent way more than 80 bucks doing it and ended up with the Engel. I like the 30 so I can put 20 to 25 dozen in it without any worries.

They will definantly spray you if you leave em on the front deck. I pined the wires into a two pin wire connector and added enough of a wire harness to move around in the boat where ever I needed to and to get away from the battery clamps that it comes with.
