Perch, we had a good weekend mid lake. We moved out to 15 fow and caught them about 10ft.
not much but little males on the bank, big fish out deep. Gonna try again tonight.
btw, my wife out fished me 4-1 with her minnows! I was still fishing BG in monkey milk color, with chartreuse head.

Last night was slow slow. Only caught 5 keepers and really had to work for them..hope the weekend is better.

Fished around monkey island today for a few hours today. Water is dirty but managed to clean eight. Six males painted up w/out beat up fins and two females with runny eggs all in 2-4 FOW. Threw back a dozen that were 1/4 inch short and lost 4 keepers at the boat.

Fished this weekend and found them scattered. Got 10 Saturday and limit Sunday, but really had to work.
Caught some shallow and some 10 ft.
Im thinking its winding down here at Grand. All but one small female had spawned out.

I'd have to agree with you gpaw. Glad you were able to pick some up.

Had a great day on Grand with my little boy, my brother and my nephew. Fishing the Elk River arm we scanned docks sitting in at least 20 FoW (bluff banks). As we were scanning we would watch for schools under the docks. Once we would find a school we would just pitch up to the dock with jigs and count it down to about 10 feet and start reeling. Would catch about 5 to 10 fish per dock that we scanned that had schools under it.
We ended up with 46 keepers between the 4 of us, biggest was 13.5". Needless to say we had a great day on the water, might even have to go back tomorrow!
