    Thanks PawPaw "Gene" the fish Gods were good to us but there is definitely a problem at Poverty Point, after fishing there for many years there is a noticeable difference in the number of fish being caught. I hear a lot about fishing pressure but I think it's more to do with the thousands of Comarants and Pelicans on the Lake they are eating thousands of pounds of fish and a lot of the fish are cut up when you catch them. Also the water is not nearly as clear as years past and that may be due to the large population of catfish or run off from nearby fields. Definitely a big change on that body of water.
