My modified 1967 16 foot Starcraft Mariner. This little $1400 boat has gone on many adventures in Marylands Coastal Bays and tidal rivers. I dream of a better boat but am strangely attached to this one. Floor feels soft, take it out trace it on some new plywood, seal, paint and screw down. Hit a rock and make a hole, sand patch, sand and paint and your done. The ease of it all with virtually no expense makes it hard to move on. Hope you like it.

I like that boat. You made it your own.

Thanks guys. It was a side console originally with a bench fore and aft. I used like that for years but could not get used to the constant list to starboard. I guess being such a light boat there was no avoiding that and I would find myself sitting in the middle of the boat and reaching over to steer. This summer I gutted it, built the console out of plywood md installed the pedestal seats and cooler. Really balanced now and will go 25 mph on flat water with just me. Not a rocket but fast enough. Here is another shot from a week ago on the black water of a local tidal river.

Size: 51.0 KB 2004 Lowe 180W with a 90 hp Johnson it's pretty good crappie fishing boat or I like it anyway I've owned it for about 8 yrs. My only negative thing it's light weight and in windy conditions you have a hard time longline trolling but other than that it's a good boat.
