The bite was fair at Clear Bay Saturday morning. I think this one on top was a black crappie?

I'm from an area where there is hardly ever any wind...this is a whole new experience. Any tips for dealing with this Oklahoma wind?

It'll die down in a month or so.

Go to WWW.crappienow.com and download the April 2014 issue and on page 21 there is an article about longlining to deal with the wind.

Just wait a bit, July and August you will be wishing for that wind!! LOL Seriously location and using terrain to block the wind is the only way to go.

Is anybody still catching fish at the dam. Sand bass included? I was thinking of trying it in the morning.

Plenty of sand bass on the dam still. Was there this morning again. I just cast parallel with the bank anywhere from 5-10' out, double jigged with a bobber and retrieve at a medium to fast pace. Bobber is only on there to prevent me from getting hung up on the rock.

I went to Wes Watkins yesterday at the West ramp and fished on the East side of the rip rap the same way and was hauling in bigger sandies there. Length and size of my forearm.
