    Default 88 Bumble Bee

Having a narrow front deck has me shying away from doing a side by side set up. The depth finder and gps are now the same height as the holders and easier on my eyes. Gets busy with 8 rods sometimes. The rear seat has 4 baseplates so the holders can go out the back or sides. Trolling cranks solo is done with baseplates within reach after removing the post from the front seat and facing backwards, turn around the console gps/sonar, and auto pilot T/M. Very easy to do all this alone, don't use front livewell is the only drawback I can see. Second pic was before several of the changes. Thanks for looking.

Not sure I'm on the right page but here goes. Been considering changing my trolling motor to a bow mount foot control but I'm concerned if the hard cable will flex enough to allow me to use it? I'm fishing out of a 1989 Bass Tracker Panfish Pro and it has a front deck that may or may not be a problem. Just wondered if anyone has seen or maybe has one that will eliminate my fears.

I have 2001 Nova boat and I have made several things myself for my set up. My dad (pop) and I fish side by side up front spider rigging and jig fishing and it is just a blessing to fish with him. The rod holders were made my uncle who owned the boat before us. I got some little pvc caps bolted to the rod holders for crappie nibbles. I made the fish finder mount up front and I'm running a 598 SI unit up there.I also made the daul fish finder mount at the console and I'm running a 597 di unit for maps and 2D sonar and DI, the 598 I'm using just for SI. We are very pleased with the boat and how we have her set up.
    Thanks, Lynn
