Great pricing, just placed an order with you. Been thinking about ordering some new colors of eyes when I saw this and ordered a bunch. I placed an order with LPO earlier today for a bunch of Victory hooks and wish I had seen this first, could have saved over $3 per hundred. Still ordered some and when I need more I'll know where to look first.

We are interested in starting a customer display page on our site. If you are interested in showing your creations with our materials we would be honored to post them on the site. We have several first time tiers that shop with us and it would be a good way to get them off the ground and running. It is just fun to see how others approach the art as well! You can email pictures to info@woodsandwateroutdoors. We will only post a name with the picture if you tell us to.

Thank you everyone for helping us get this up and off the ground. We have appreciated all of the comments and support. We also thank everyone who has made suggestions to help us improve.

First off I wanted to thank everyone for looking at our site and doing business with us. It has been a fast paced summer and I really have not had much time to sit down and post or even look at the forum. I do have some updates. We have recently restocked quite a bit of our custom chenilles, but we are still missing several and I expect them in September. I am also restocking our feathers with a 5-7" Neck Hackle, this is a premium feather that will provide good "V" cuts if that is what you are looking for. It will still take me another week or so to get most of our colors dyed up. Quality feathers have been problematic to find. The 4-6" neck hackle has fallen off as most of the strings we get do not even have 4" feathers to begin with. Not sure we will even carry these once I go through what we have. If you purchase 4-6" expect to only use the tips on these. You will receive 5-6" strings in these bags which will weigh more than the traditional 1/4ounce bags.

If you have not already checked out our chenilles here is the link:

Again thank you all for your support and helping us get our business off the ground.

I just noticed the (Falcon FN12?) PCP in your logo, and after a few minutes of clicking saw a Steve Corcoran link- Nice! He makes some sweet stocks!

    Trophy King,

I am familiar with the FN12 and that series of guns. Way ahead of their time when released but that gun in our logo is actually one of our custom stock Marauder PistolsName: p-rod1.jpg

A few updates! We now have our full line of Victory Hooks. Well nearly! Our pricing is competitive and shipping is fast, at least on our part. I am also beginning to dye calf tails. Before I get too deep into this I would like to know what colors most of you would be looking for beyond the traditional. There is not much I can do about the hair length on the tail, I get what I get. My experience in this project so far is interesting as hair takes the dye different from feathers, but I do believe we can produce our special colors with a little practice. We have also began carrying cactus chenille in 9 colors. Thank you all for your support and I look forward to your suggestions on the calf tail.

Patrick, do you think the size 8 is strong enough for steelhead and salmon? Also, is there a bead that will work on that sickle design? Thanks. Mike
