Default New! Tenryu Lunakia Ajing Rods

Extremely sensitive ultralight JDM spinning rods.

The rods feel stiff - surprisingly stiff for a rod rated for no more than 3 or 4 lb test line. Designed for Aji (horse mackerel), the rods are stiff so they will transmit the slightest tick of a bite. Aji fishing is often done at night, so the fishing is entirely by feel. Aji are fast swimmers, and if they catch a jig from behind and then continue to swim towards you, you won't feel a thing if you use a soft rod. With an Ajing rod, you can feel the minimal resistance of a jig coming through the water as you retrieve. When that resistance disappears "fish on!" Crappies and bluegills tend not to do that, but you will still feel the subtle bites you missed before.

Two models in stock now. Shipping time 1-3 days, depending on where you live.

Rods made in Japan for the Japanese Domestic Market

*Please note - Line weight max is the honest breaking strength, not what is printed on boxes of line sold in the US, which almost always understates the actual breaking strength. US 4# test line does not break at 4# and should not be used. I would recommend US 2# line or Japanese line, which is available in 3# and 4#, and breaks where it is supposed to. (3# and 4# line in stock also.)

Mine will be delivered today. When I do unboxing video and review will recommend buying from you. Your price is around 30 bucks cheaper than ordering out of Japan. Really pumped about this rod.

    Beautiful rods.

If you haven't tried JDM rods - you should. I primarily fish with Aji & Mebaru rods now. Both style rods cast UL jigs extremely well. The Ajing rods are a great tool for hunting big Bluegill. Super sensitivity and plenty of power to get fish turned & up.
