If I’m using these to pull cranks off the side it looks like the magnum board is the way to go? And do the clips need to be replaced a good bit? I see where they sell extras and wasn’t sure if I needed to go ahead a pick up a couple too

I use the Magnum boards for all purposes whether pulling 1/16 oz jigs or pulling cranks. It pulls better and sits higher out of the water for easier visibility. Clips will occasionally break but not very often if you take care of them, I've got some boards I have used for 4 yrs without a problem. Hope this helps feel free to call after 4:00 est if you have anymore questions.
