Looks like the only difference between the 9 and 10 inch screen is the 9 inch screen looks it has a bigger blackout border.

Correct. The 9 and 10 have the same size case with a different size display. The 9 will have the compact transducer as where the 10 will have the HDSI transducer.

Will the transducer wire/cable still fit thru the motor housing on a Terrova like past HB's have ??

Yes sir,

The Helix series have the same transducers that were on the core models.
