pike fishing
Can anyone tell me the best places to pike fish ,thinking of going to Petenwell but if anyone else knows of a better place let me know ,hoping for late may or june.

Try Yellow Lake in Webster Wisconsin.Great numbers of large pike.:D
Big muskies in there too.

lake poygan, Butte des morts, on the wolf river system. Also, shawano lk has been known to produce large numbers of small northerns, occasional big un. large numbers of large ( over 10 ) is impossible but the best wi area is the east shore of green bay's weed beds. they get 20's there very regularly. good luck, ND

Redstone lake by Reedsburg Wisconsin and Wisconsin Dells has nice pike also.It's got plenty of 3-10 pounders with some pushing 15+ pounds.Another area worth checking out is the Chetek area lakes.:D
