Default Friend - Crappie Fishing spot

    Guys,

I have a friend with two boys that would love to come to
Wisconsin this summer and fish. He needs to rent cabin and
be able to rent a boat as well. He gave a trip to them for Christmas.

Anybody have any ideas or places ??--I'd love to pass on to him.

    Thanks, Z21

    Default wisc. trip

hey Z yeah, that trip to jupiter or other spring training area is something i plan on doing this year. i am a huge fan of the game, in fact i am seeing the parks and recreation dude tomorrow a.m., about umpiring some games this spring. i am from the chicago area originally, and a cubs/sox fan. also, have killed a few deer just south of you near flora and clay city. we got a nice hunting camp in the little wabash bottoms. if you get up north during the spring/summer, give me a holler. i might be up there. Sounds good, I am a Cardinal season ticket holder--always love the Cards/Cubs games. I was a IHSA licensced umpire myself. Deer/ Flora
---I have a farm near Iola--great Deer/Turkey hunting. close to the little
Wabash river.--Have you fished much in Florida for crappie ???

Z21 No, I have not got out to chase dem crappies too much. I cant get real exited cuz most guys are not getting them yet. I have heard 3 good reports in the last month. But , maybe the guys catchin them are just keeping it to themselves. Last year they started about this time of the year. So its time to get after them! There are 76000 acres of water to fish on this chain so it will take a few outings to get a handle on em! Glenn

Check out bluetopresort.com I spend 2 weeks there in june and the fishing is good. They have cabins and rent boats with motors It's a clean and quiet camp ground that has its own channel ,swimming pond and not far from other attractions. This is fremont Wi. the White Bass capital where you some times can catch as many as you want to clean when there running in May. Call earle they fill up fast. I'll be there the last 2 weeks of june again.
