Thread: Striper from May 2007

I'm more than ready, I just can't seem to get time, & now they're giving storms starting Wednesday Night/Thursday through the weekend, so I'm not happy, but I can't control the weather. I had planned on going this weekend & camping, but isn't looking too good right now. I hear they are moving up & are really starting to tear the shad up, I'm just hoping to get another shot at them soon.

Isn't looking good for a return performance on the 10th of '08, but who knows, something may give between today and Saturday.

I hope them little beginner fishermens i fish with let me go fishing with them and we can crappie fish the first half til around 1 am then go striper fish at 130 am that my plan for friday night if god will right.ill post pic saturday check them out.if we listen to the weather man we might be in the house always but be careful.

That's true, scattered thunderstorms this evening/tonight, sunny tomorrow (Saturday) but NE winds.

Well, gave it a shot on Friday Night (5/9), got on the water about 8 PM on Lake Cumberland, did some light fishing w/ a rooster tail until about dark, caught one small shell cracker & a trot line. Skies were overcast, then cloudy, one small sprinkle of rain, & about 2 AM the winds started rolling. The shad came up, but then the wind would pick up and shad would go back down. We fished until 4 AM, ended up with one Walleye & no Stripers, got home about 6 AM, so we'll see what happens next time.

glad to hear you tried cause i didnt get to go cause a family thing,but this week end it might be from friday to sunday morning.cant wait
