    Default Tennessee Striper Trip

Stopped in Tennessee over Thanksgiving and took a trip with Bryson with Tennessee River Monsters. Me and the wife both caught our new record best. Her's was 28 lbs and mine was 32 lbs. Great trip.

Nice! I've been hooked on striper fishing for over 20 years now. In fact I need to start planning a trip right now.

Cannot recommend Captain Bryson enough. Great guy. We pulled up and he said we needed to catch bait so I figure we are going to throw the cast net. We started casting jigs to the bank and he slings in a 2 foot probably 4 or 5 lb skipjack. I said what is that and he said bait we need two more. Hard to believe they eat fish that big, but they were inhaling 4 lb skipjack.

Congratulations to both of you, I'm glad you finally got to reel in a fish.
I know you're the captain on your boat and Mrs. Wright lands most of the fish.
Same for me, Somebody else gets to land the fish.
