    Default Lake DeGray hybrids

The Stars finally aligned and we were able to have our grandson come and stay with us a few days last week. I'd been wanting to try the hybrids at DeGray, and set us up a guided trip. The fishing was actually pretty slow, with 2 short flurries of activity when we caught all the fish.

Ended up with 8 hybrids, smallest about 4 pound up to one 9 pounder. My grandson had never caught anything bigger than a bream before. He missed a couple before he got the hang of and I think ended up catching more fish than I did. All in all a great day.

And I've got to show off this little scamp, our newest grandchild. He will be my fishing buddy in a few years.

Glad y'all had a great time together and caught some fish. Memories made and that trip will be the talk for awhile with his buddies when school starts. Thanks for the report and pics.
