Thread: Striper fishing on norman

Fished on norman saturday night. Caught 6 fish around 5 or 6lbs each and missed 4 or 5. Caught on redfin around points in creeks. It was a great night.

I live on lake norman and have a ranger bass boat, but I recently started enjoying some striper fishing, if you want to hook up and fish anytime day or night write to me........Gary

I have recently moved to lake norman and although I have had great sucess with bass, crappie and cats I havent had alot of stripers on the line, I am semi retired and have day and nights available, if anyone wants to give me some help finding the big stripers I would gladly pay for gas / bait and or alternate using my boat. write to me lets fish.

What do you catch them on ? I am not asking the specific thing like color or any thing like that just the type.

OK BigDawg I may drop you a line sometime. I fished with a buddy Sat 01/13/2007 caught 14 stripers and 3 large mouth. Largest striper was around 6 pounds. It was a great day, cloudy but not cold. Caught fish on shad that I caught on Lake Hickory the day before.

Fished Norman last night 01/17/07 from 7pm - midnight. Caught 3 stripers, fishing piers with lights, using X rap. Had 1 fish around 8 lbs other two was around 4 lbs. Boy it was cold.
