Slabking, have you done any fishing lately?
My friend and I went to Bonneville dam on saturday to catch some shads. We met up with 2 other guys and spent about 6 hours fishing. I got about 10 shads (so dissappointed) and my 2 other friends got over 20 each at least. I wish I could have done better.
Slabking, I'm looking for some productive crabbie jigs to buy and also I need to learn how to set up the jigs, the sinker, and pretty much learn the different kind of rod setup for crabbies. Can you take a few pictures of what you've been doing? Also where is a good place to buy some jigs?
Thanks for your help!

Clearvision,
I'm not SlabKing by any means but I can tell you that crappies love a jig that is slowly falling, So the use of sinkers isn't common unless your fishing minnows over brushpiles or structure. Once in awhile you may have to use a split shot.
I use the lightest jig I can possibly use and still cast with whatever wind I'm in. I try to tight line the jigs with out a bobber if I can, as I just prefer to fish that way. If I'm over cover jigging, I use the jig and only the jig, jigging it up and then letting it fall back on almost slack line, kinda natural like.
If I have to use a bobber, I tend to use the lightest one I can get away with, then work the jig so that it flutters and falls under the bobber.
Remember they like slow falling, so lighter is better if you can get away with it.
as for buying jigs, I use tiny tube jigs which are available just about everywhere with some great success.
