Bass!
Ok so I think I might be going nuts. But I wanna go on the hunt for the state record.. What lakes do you guys know of where this is possible? I know flowing, Marcel and a couple private ones put out fish over 10 each year, but i need to find a lake that has a bigger fish then 10.

Spanaway and Black Lake would be worth a shot. I've seen pics of a 10 from Black and an 10lb 11oz fish from Spanaway.
Fishing is nice, but I prefer to spend my time on the water
catching :D
Need to know more about crappie in Washington?

The lakes along I-82 near Yakima push out a largie or two near 10 pounds what seems like every year.

Thanks for the suggestions.. I havent been able to get anything over 8 this year and its starting to piss me off so im just gonna focus on a state record fish and making the state team.

Lewis lake and Sequalitchew on Ft Lewis(if you can get access) have the potential to pop out a new record. A guy caught what would have been the new record a couple of years ago out of lewis lake, but he waited over 3 hours to have the fish weighed.

I have posted news about Chambers lake in Lacey a few times so most will have to bear with me on this. When I was younger there was a kid who caught what was believed to be a 11 lb Large mouth out of the smaller lake on a nightcrawler. If you get a chance ask around about this lake since it's been a few years since I've fished it. The lakes on ft. Lewis are nice also and have the potential for having a record fish also.
