Thread: one more good fall crappie pattern.

One other crappie pattern that has paid big dividens in the fall, Dock fishing is great in the fall. Also around March 15th and the night bite can be the best on the docks. I have slammed some good specks in the fall in well lit areas on a dock at night on Silver Lake.

yeah we did a little bit of that when we went down in october, I am really interested in getting some good bass out of there come spring time....

are they still hitting down there at this time of the year? in the canals still?

I have read in a flayfishing book on washington that they get them trolling flies in Jan.....

I suggest going down to Duck it is full of crappie. they can be a little tip lippe drite now but they are there and in there thick, but I would wait till feb unless you can not contain yourself..

The bass really start hitting well around March 15th and that is when the crappie move on to the motel dock at night! but Mid June is incredible!
All the big ol sows are starting to feel better after the spawn and they are feeding hard. Lots of 6 & 7 pound bass get caught in Mid-June! Then we will have the summer pattern!
