Newbie in Spokane Valley
Hi all. This is my first attempt at Crappie fishing. I understand Newman lake is good how about Liberty? When and where do you normally start to see them? I mostly shore fish but do have a inflatable with a trolling motor that I take out also but not on the weekends. I also was curious if anyone tries ice fishing jigs in the summer for them? I have some little 1/16 glow in the dark stuff that I think may work in the summer but don't know if anyone has tried them, one orange and the other red.
My wife and daughter are not big into me being gone all day Saturdays and with church Sunday, I am a 4:00am Monday-Friday guy so I do get a little limited on times to be out.
Anything for a newbie would be great,

Sounds good. I have gotten into some down by Yakima, but noting in this area. Been hitting 'gills though.
