Went over to Sawyer today and put a little more time on the engine and tried out the trolling motor for a bit and even threw out a jig for a little bit.
Didn't catch anything but at least I got out for a little. Got about 2 1/2-3 hours on the motor now and working my way through the break-in.
There were a few others out but I think they were targeting Bass and others just running the gas out of their engines for the winter.

My wife is from Seattle; does that give me any points toward being an "honorary" Washington member?

Silver Lake down in Castle Rock should be producing some nice fish this time of year. If the weather co-operate I might give it a try this coming weekend. These are some fish I caught around the beginning of October down at 5 Mile.Name: crappie12.jpg
