Default Road Trip

Headin' up to Ottertail County (MN) next week...

Any advice?

Last year we caught 'em in 10-15 fow but that was most of the lake...couple deep pools and a few humps but most were right there at 10-15 and weedy.

Either catching up on weeds or having the northerns take it and cut my line while slow trolling lindy rigs tipped with minnows.

Should I be trying something different? Wanting to be more productive this year!

Ever try any crankbaits? We go to White Earth Lake in Becker county every year but not until August. We do pretty well on cranks (trolling and casting). I would think a variety of jig tactics would work well too.

Good fishing!
