Yes - 2 years ago - and offered to give them a case of each size for every one of their stores for FREE to start it off. I tried all the big chains and get told "Not at this time". Maurice Sporting Goods Distributors is the biggest supplier of fishing tackle and if they don't want you in the game your screwed. They are not only the biggest distributor they are also closely connected with a manufacturer of fishing tackle. Ever hear of South Bend Tackle. They are headquartered in the Sears Tower with Maurice - MONOPOLY - is harsh word but with enough marketing money I could force my way in. It worked for banjo minow! I no longer buy any fishing tackle from a chain store. Mom and pop stores need our support, not the chains, that monopolize the markets with their knock offs.
I'm really not that bitter but it was a learning curve that hurt me!

Glad to see your doing well my friend, I came across this thread by accident and I'm sure glad I did.
You joined CC the same time I did and I remember quite well how the good and gracious folks here at CC. ran you off, calling you a spammer and reference to other sites, when you were trying to introduce your product.
I'm very pleased to see that no one discouraged you and that you are finding success.
Kinda teaches a lesson. "Stick to it,Follow your dream"
Good Luck in the future Sir.
