    Smile ot fishing report

left out of lynnhaven to go the high rise to get some rockies. came under the bridge and looked out to the cbbt and the birds were thick diving all over. looked for a pod that no boats were around headed over and jigged up about 2 dozen. could see them streming by the top of the water chasing bait. kept the ones for eating in the slot. got done with that and headed the 4th and the high rise. looked around marked some nice fish found a good place tied up and set over the snakes. and this is what went down till the tide stopped moving. we caught 20 in this class of fish.

Man those are nice, good report Spec2. Put my name on a chunk of one of them and I will come down and buy ya lunch at the place of yur choice in return. Me and the ol lady caught thousands of white bass in our day and a goodly number of hybrids (wipers) with em but they both rated as poor table fare next to crappies or bream. Last year my neighbor brought me a huge piece of rockfish and of course I filleted the red meat along the lateral line away and soaked it like we did the whites & hybrids but man this was GOOD. Did some in the oven, some on the grill. I have crappie outta Diascund in the freezer also if ya wanna trade-whatever. Man now I am jonesin for some serious pullage.

By golly doc you CAN teach an ol dog new tricks. I am ashamed at myself for overlooking ALL that, and feel like I have a pretty good handle on the ways of the world. Thanks man, 1 less nagging question bugging me. I believe you did me the honor of dinner last time you visited these parts, I would like to return the favor this trip. Guess I may as well feed that semi-pro sidekick of yurn too while I'm at it. :D Did ya all find a place to bunk? If not PM or call me. I might have sumthin that'll work if you dont mind sleepin with my ol lady.

Thanks Spec2, I am gonna take you up on it. I have been trying to coax a few kohlrabi along with IBNFSHN in mind and might be able to do both at the same time. What can I offer you in return? I am fixin to put together a good Texas Red chili in honor of my good friend Johnny Norville who is going to be buried at 1 PM today. Him and I used to eat a big ol bowl of it then fan the farts out on the lake and marvel at the wonder of it all. I usually make an industrial-sized batch. Of course wings at Hooters was a favorite of both of us but we had to travel 23 miles to Wilcrest Ave in Houston to fondle the wings but regardless would be an appropriate sending-off rite on my part. Aw heck jus lemme give ya five $1 bills for the rock and you spend em at whatever rate you want at the area topless joint. (with me)
