well, I posted on there and said I'm glad it wasn't me but I forgot about the big wrench up in the motor box. It is 4 1/2 feet long and was made to unjam the machine. I could always run a deer that jammed the feeder housing all the way through with the big wrench hear and feel every bone crack. Watch the carnage as the rasp bars and concaves do their work on what normally would be grain shelling. then keep turning until it goes through the separators ( which would do to the deer exactly that) and then spit it on out the back of the machine. Probably could put the machine in gear at that point and watch the leftovers hit the spreaders on the back and watch them fly away. dang! what a concept. pure suffering, torture device with processing!!! What a concept!:DCF

Never seen a deer git hit like that. Dad chopped up a few coons and rabbits over the years. It is hard to imagine what a buck that size would do. It is hard enough to keep em running just cuttin corn.

Some boys close to me had one make it to the feeder housing. They had to pull that thing out in pieces. That was a nasty mess. Now if they had the done the proper slaughter earlier in the growing season, there would have been no problem. CF

I remember a few close calls but never got one(with the combine) I have clipped a few pheasant legs. Farmer you are bringing back memories, I plugged ours tight one nite and was out there pulling the side boards off the truck to put on the ground so I could raise the head and put the wrench on then lower the head to back it off till I could do it myself. As soon as I got it unplugged my dad showed up and was ticked that I wasnt done yet.
