Thread: Sick Child

was planning to go to wb today but wife took kids to see the lights and my smallest one cHRISTINA came home sick. I mean really sick... I'm talking throwing up evrything and every 5 min till about 4in the morning. My wife is the doc of the family so I figured I could still go. But I made a big mistake by asking Chris do you want me to stay home. See looked at me with those sad blue eyes and said yes. Please. then fell asleep. At 530 she woke up and then woke me and said thanks for staying home, but you can go tomorrow. love being a dad.

Times like that are sure to make you proud to be a Dad. I looked at my Boss Friday with my sad blue eyes and he said I'll see you at work Saturday morning so that's where I am.

Your a good Dad Charlie Brown. There will always be time for fishing. Hope she is feeling better soon.

My littlest one had that Thursday night. We were up till 3 AM while the Mrs. snoozed. Then Noelle and I had a nap yesterday afternoon. It earned trip privileges for next w/e's bash. WHOO HOO! The bummer was cleaning up the chuck.

You made the right move, you can always go another day and you didn't get mom on the war path by taking off and leaving her alone.
