I should have followed you around this morning. The bite was slow for me all day. Maybe the gale force wind last night spooked them, but the best I could do was a few dozen--one here and one there. Tomorrow's probably going to be a better day, but it doesn't look like I'll be out again until the end of the week.

He's been a board member for several years and probably hunts Pickett, too. Speaking of hunting, amongst the logs, streams of leaves, and general debris floating down the lake yesterday, I found a deer carcass. Must be tough to track a wounded animal in the water.

Nice meeting you too Corker. I caught about 20 before I had to go, nothing any size to speak of. I dont do much hunting anymore but me and a buddy used to do pretty good with the turkeys in the spring at Pickett.Thanks for the picture.....1st time Ive seen myself on the internet.
