Thread: OT - Dirty Potato Chips

Who carries them around here?

I've got some laying on the floor of my boat. How dirty do you want them?

I haven't seen them in awhile. You mean the kettle cooked kind?

I believe that's just the brand name. Most tater chip makers wash the spuds after they are sliced. Dirty chips don't and they are suppose to taste like home made chips.

Now that you mention it, haven't seen them on the shelves for a good while.

There's a restraunt in Richmond over by Regency Square Shopping Center that's called "Melito's". They have the best home made chips. Really fried crisp and served hot. They are served wth a side house cheese Jalapano dip. If your up this way give them a try . Melito's is know for Richmond's best hot dog also.
