    Default Yo Farmer

I'm looking round for tails and pelts for tying. IF you got any critter parts that don't actually have bullet holes, 00 shot holes, napalm burns, bar tread tire marks, claw hammer holes, nail gun holes, blood stains, road rash, drag marks, chipper shredder pieces, embedded broken glass, poison, blast marks/burns, gasoline odors, ripped tattered torn beaten with a sledge hammer, could ya let a brother know?

    backtocrappie,
If ya obtain pelts etc. from alternate sources or hunters and trappers, be carefull how you store it. I had an otter pelt I cured and a bobcat pelt and they were in the shop and the darmistae beetle larvae ate them up, and while they were at it thet got intomy other feathers and stuff. someone on here said, and it might have been you, that they put peices of flea and tick collars in with the fur, Iv'e started to do that cuz mothballs will stink your fur up too much. alot of store bought feathers and furs for tying have been treated with a gas and they resist bugs very well.

Sorry Bro. Out of the killing business right now. I go on vacation from killing when hunting season comes in. But as soon as its out, I am back in business. Let someone else kill those woods goats for a while. I might can scrounge up some tails for ya from the local hunting club. try to locate a member from every hunting club in your area. Some hunting clubs have a club house and usually at the club house they rig up a cooler where they hang the deer for about 2 weeks to slowly bleed out. Gets alot of the gamy taste out of the meat. Meat is just a lot better from doing that. But anyway, if you can find one, I'm sure the guys would be glad to give you all the tails and pelts you want. You would never run out of hair for tying. I'll check around and see what I can come up with. CF

BTC I don't know if you're looking to buy or get donated, but if you do an ebay search for "pelts" you'll find all sorts of stuff and a lot of it is for decent prices. For instance, I just bought a possum pelt for 1.09, great for jigs. There are all sorts of tails and fur trimmings available.

No, No. You see I do much worse. Ever heard a deer scream before? takes a special talent to get one to scream You see. After wounding one, I have a special dip that I can dip them into or just poor on them. Makes the hair just wash off like loose sand. You should hear the sounds. Of course hooking tractors draw bar to draw bar and using the deer for rope is always fun. he who gets the most deer wins in that game. I do these and more when I am playing with them. When I get serious, Its far, far worse. I don't have any carcasses because there is nothing left when I get through with them. I have been hearing hunters complain about the deer population falling way off this year. Coincided with last years kill. They don't know what happened but I do. There was no disease. No Virus. Not even suicide. It was the massacre on deerburger Hill. I enjoyed every painful, screaming minute of it. They hear the sounds of the guns in the late evening now. So I will not Hunt. But in the late winter, when the sounds of rifles have subsided and just when the deer think it is safe to come out of the woods. I will be there.CF
