    Question Cold Weather Gear

I ordered a set of Guide Wear from Cabelas..The jacket came in but it will be the end of November or December before the bibs come off backorder..

Does Carhartt make bibs with Gore-Tex? I have a pair of their insulated bibs & they were expensive but I don't think they are water proof..Just water resistant..I have been very wet in water resistant stuff before.

I need help until my others get here..

Under Armor is good stuff. Then lots of fleece layers and frog toggs if it rains or snows. (Grinnelsaurus loves to fish in the snow)

Don't overspend while you wait for your order. My suggestion is to go to Walmart and get a pair of the black, nylon rain paints they have in the fishing/camping section. About $25. Get them big. Slip on a pair of sweat pants over your normal pants and the black rain pants over top. The sun hitting those pants give you a lot of warmth. Get them big so they don't bind at the knees or seat when you set.

I think you will like the result.
