Thread: Hear ye, hear ye, especially Cork & Wasabi

Berdman & I have decided to slap a gas motor he has on The Onion and win the Kerr Bash. Here is the meat & potatoes part-we have the option of getting a room at The Lake Motel for Fri/Sat. Corker & Wasabi, you guys said when I talked to ya all Sunday that you would have preferred to have the lodge over the cabin but didnt think you could find the extra 3 people to split it with. If you are still wanting to and if you think theres not a problem changing yur reservations from the cabin to the lodge, here are 2 of the 3people and hopefully someone else would sign on as the 5th total.
I am not asking you to change yur plans to accomodate us I am just going by what you said about you'd rather do the lodge if you had yur druthers. If you would and are interested someone would have to call The Lake Motel and see if they will do that.

As I said we can always either stay at The Lake in a reg room or if we dont get the lodge with ya all we know there is a 2 night minimum there so we can always book a room for 1 night in say South Hill for Fri only and just have a short drive Sat morning and then drive home after the bash. Wasabi brought up havin a fish fry and if we do then we would probly just do 2 nights at The Lake in order to be on hand for the festivities and any lewd & illicit activities to follow. And if you guys wanna change and get the lodge we would automaticly make it a 2 night stay.

Rather than just call you, Cork & Wasabi, am putting this on the board to see if we can get interest in a 5th or 6th man to fill out a stay at the lodge- if you guys wanna do that.

And foremost, we are just asking this so that if you wanna do that we have made our position known. Realize you have already booked the cabin and there will be no feelings hurt or any such silly stuff if you wanna keep it like it is. Berd & I did take into consideration that you 2 HAVE been spending quite some time fishing together and respect yur wishes if you would like the privacy of sleeping together without 3-4 other dudes in the room with you.

We have a cabin at Occoneechee State Park. Wasabi made the reservations & would need to be the one to contact them to see if a change is possible.

OK, Shoer just PM'd a pic of hisself in a diaper. Good enough. I'll check my reservation materials and see how flexible the reservation folks are.

And remember Wasabi-only if you guys want to. I am handy to have around to help out at meal times, I know my way around kitchen utensils quite well. If we end up living together for a couple days I'll have nice place-settings made up for everyone like this.

There is a substantial cancellation fee if I CANCEL my current cabin. The online information talks about a TRANSFER capability but the reservation center is now closed. I'll have to call tomorrow to see if I can transfer into a lodge. There were 2 lodges free last week when I booked the cabin. Tonight I see only one is left.

Anybody else who was thinking of getting that lodge should still try to do it. If you get it before me then it just means 5 or 6 more folks will be coming down and Corker and I will still have a roof over our heads. We'll probably be coming over and getting soused and urinating ourselves on your floor anyway. I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody again.

Ok, if yur sure you want to let us know then when you find out tomorrow. I understand what you are saying about if anyone wants the lodge to do so but if Berd & I were to think in that direction, we would be in the same fix ya all were, wondering if we would get a couple more folks to split the tab. This way we know we have 4 atleast, how many does the thing sleep? Now Wasabi, if you git urinated and souse all over the floor thats one thing but I gotta tell ya, the thought of Corker intoxicated scares the ever-livin bejeebers outta me. Something else we need to consider is some kind of pact whereby all occupants refrain from chili, sauerkraut, and hard-boiled eggz for a day or two before the bash. Even at my best pace I can only smoke enuf weed to mask a finite amount of noxious fumes. I wouldnt want to be part of the crowd either that makes it where Oconeechee will not house Crappie.com members ever again. Theres also the poor cleaning lady to think of, on a humanitarian level.
I carry a big load of sweat towels in my truck Wasabi. If yur a sad drunk and go to crying on us half the night I have somethin for you to dry yur eyes on. Or if someone violates the chili cheesedog pact you can use em to dry yur eyes for that purpose also.
Have you bunked with Corker before Wasabi? Reason I ask is he strikes me as being a somewhat funky beast. Just curious.
