Thread: Pre-Bash Buggs Island Reconnaissance

I am trying to talk Ranger into a Buggs trip this coming Sunday, 11/02. I haven't been there since the end of Sept. so I thought we might make a "pre-bash" trip and try to locate some bigguns' in preparation for the 15th.

Anybody else interested?

Looks like that just might be a go. I'm sure the weather gods will have a nice little plan for us.

Hmmmmm. I suddenly feel sick. I feel a vacation day coming on. Its been awhile since I took off on a weekend. I will check the weather Friday. If it looks good enough to burn some time on I will be there!!!! You get your boat back yet Dayton or you guys going out in the Sea Nymph?

Not back yet. The part was supposed to be in late last week. So maybe I will hear something soon.

Are we going to do some real searching on Sunday? Eastland, Palmers, Nutbush?

We got to get away from those internet old guys.

Forget searching. I'm going to Grassy and look for old guys fishin brush piles. Gonna have to buy a new SD card for all the waypoints!!

I'm just feeling the need to fish somewhere that doesn't get the internet exposure. So many people fish Rudds, Grassy and Buffalo. I got to try something else.
