Dayton does that with jigs, just get him anywhere near a shoreline tree. He was once shooting a dock and got a buzzard circling overhead instead.

ShellQuacker lobs a fly like that, thing just goes up up & away. Next thing ya know theres a bunch of cussin and top of a willow tree is shakin.

Corker is such an erratic caster that BBQ John told me he knows the days that Cork is out fishin cuz jigs appear as temporary blips on his air traffic controllers screen over Diascund.

That was some kinda snap. Can you think back and relate to me just exactly what words came outta yur mouth when that ball was snapped into row 4 of the end zone seats? Boudreaux was watchin the game and even he lifted his head and said Rut the Ruck???

Linebacker James Harrison made the snap. The only long snapper on the team was injured so Harrison came in. He had never snapped for a punt in his life. Chalk that one up to injury. The Steelers will be signing a new long snapper this week.

Tough loss considering that the defense played great. Pittsburgh's big problem is their offensive line, if they can't get it corrected it'll be one and done in the playoffs.

I thought the Vikings looked great this past weekend. :D

I wasnt sure I saw it right man. You gotta give Harrison kudos for technique & velocity.
If I were him I would point out what a nice tight spiral the snap had.:D


I had a terrible halftime malfunction out by the garden last night. Evidently 2 seeds and a large piece of timber got rolled up next to each other. I was puffin away and of a sudden that thing went up in smoke like the Challenger
shuttle did back in the 80s. Smoke billowing out one side, sparks & fireworks going on outta a different area, and another seed shooting stuff all over the atmosphere back at me.
I checked the gasket on the solid rocket booster on that joint and know that aint what failed. There was so much smoke blasting out at various trajectories I ran outta places to try inhale smoke thru and even tried use my ears for the task but alas, no suction.
So you can imagine how it is I about fell outta my chair and choked on a Triskit when that snap took off like it had been shot outta a canon for the moon. I'd like to tell you that I didnt think of you and yur name & vision didnt pass thru my mind at that moment but I hate to fish on The Sabbath and then lie on Monday.
Oh chit, the only thing missing when that snap sailed up was someone yelling "pull" and some dude with a shotgun and dressed for trap shooting.
The Steelers better sign a long snapper this week cuz they are gonna be the laughing stock of the NFL if their punter has to drag a step ladder out on the field from now on.:D

Corker and I watched the end of that game at Lakeside Restaraunt, eating wonderfully greasy Fisherman's Special cheeseburgers and trying to count how many of those massive Chick Lake fish we caught.
