    Default Nottoway River 10-5-08


    Fishing minners in 10' of water about 6' deep.Water Temp was 65. I fished from 6:30am until 9:30. I didn't catch but 2 fish until 8:30, when I finally found 'em they were hungry.


    My 4 biggest......three 13-13 1/2 and one 12 1/2


    Trying to fill the freezer.


    Ate some last night......man they were good!

    Good catch Goat! Nice fat river specs.
    I might have to head upriver sometime. Is there a public launch near Courtland?
    The river's too snag infested to go very far upstream from the Hurcules launch.
    Do gooder since April 26, 2009!

    Man thats one nice mess there Goat. Sounds like a fun trip. Those big ones make that qualify as a drink from the Holy Grail in my book. Any time I got a few with that size in the mix I consider it a great day!!!

    Can anyone post some pics from around the Nottoway river? I am used to seeing it up around Sussex County and whatnot where it's barely 15 yards wide and you can walk across it.
