    Default The Onion Has Surgery

Yep, I had her in the welding shop from 6-8 P.M. last night. She got a big ol piece of 3/16 aluminum welded to the bench seat where the seat & I cratered thru. Then she got another sheet welded atop the first in the middle where the new seat & pedestal will go. I could mount a crane there now it is reinforced so well.:D Now to find some decent seats that are comfy.
I also had him tack weld my fenders to the frame. I remounted my taillight mounting hardware to the frame. She aint going to move any more.

Atleast I got a good fix on my bench seat, if I get the hankerin to fish now I can just sit on my throwable if I dont have my seat in yet.

Yeah, I was on BPS site and found something I like. Actually I went there with the mindset that I would like something, and that was all the more reason to go to the new one. With a cpl days of nasty weather in store, I would think there'd be so many of us going there that the Hooters on Broad St. will be kickin for a few days during Grand Opening of BPS.
A shame I cant wait till the 11th. I would really like to look Jimmie Johnson in the eye and tell him to kiss my main O-ring. Bring him a pair of used undies and show him about a wedge adjustment gone bad. Take pictures of him holding hands with Jamie McMurray.

We got our seats from BPS and love them. Don't have any sore behinds if we stay in the boat all day long too, that's how comfortable they are.

3/16 aluminum plate tacked on the length of the bench seat, with another smaller plate of same doubled over it. Going to upholster astroturf over just the tops of bench seats. I will buy seats tomorrow, new pestal/swivel.
