Got a bunch of pics but I'll only share a few. Justin takes his planes seriously and has sworn to a career as a Navy F/A18 pilot.

Birds of prey playing together, the best we ever built, P51 and a Raptor.

Wisenheimer made numersous attempts to steal planes, but Crap King and ncnat were watching carefully.



The young sailor on this patrol boat let Justin dry fire (full speed) the 7.62 mini gun on port bow. I cocked the Ma Deuce on the stern and showed Justin how to fire it.

B52 bomb bay- didn't realize the lovely Mrs. backtu was taking a photo on the other side.


And finishing the trip with a visit to Bill's (IBNFSHN) house, where Mrs Backtu fell in love with his Dachshunds. A great ending to a great weekend.

Those are some good pics. Tell that boy if he wants to fly start on the math now and study hard. I saw that P-51 fly in the other day, funny how living here and hearing the F-18's all day long I never even look up but the sound of that big piston engine got my attention.

My boys went on Sunday. I've been going to that airshow every year since the early 80's. What a great day.
