Nottoway River 9-21-08
Dropshot minnows in brush in 14' of water from 7 to 9 am and caught 10 speckle and one big redeye. Went back from 5:30 to 6:30 (after my sons soccer game) casting Roadrunners and we caught about 10 nice bream and 2 speckle . He also got suprised by Mr Blackfish. Water was low, 70 degrees and med clear.

The bad thing is we just found the speckle and the next cast he catches the blackfish. Once he catches a big fish he's ready to go home and rub it in to his brother and sister, so we had to leave.
