    Default Appomattox 9-21

Erik and Taylor went to see the Blue Angels and I wanted to fish (seen the BA's a bunch of times), so I hit the Appomattox and had mixed results. I caught 16 crappie with 4 being 12" or a little bigger. The biggest was 13" and the picture below is him in mid jump as he actually got back in the water before I could grab him. Caught one of the big ones in Comstock and the others around the Temple Avenue Bridge.

Life's too short to fish with dead minnows!

    Brad,

Nice fish! Where are you (approximately) when you hit the Appomatox? Way way up river, or down closer to the mouth where you posted those pics last time with the catfish? I know the Appomatox runs
    up past Farmville.
    Glad I could help

Nice action shot of the crappie. Was a good day to be on the water. I was unfortunately working all day.

I put in at what's called the Small Boat Harbor in Colonial Heights and fish all in that area.
