Thread: OT: Reasons that not fishing is good

I can turn on the tv and get a snoot full of bad news. I can have another saturday of not fishing. I can check my 401k balance and get sick to my stomach. Or waste time listening to all 4 lying candidates. Or wanna drive to Florida and choke Kaylee's mom. But, I like to think that is takes hundreds of people working around the clock to bring me 30 mins of bad news every evening.

Because just today, both my kids got to play soccer at the YMCA. They are young enough that the parents still cheer for both teams. And at the end of the game, the sidelines clear and make a tunnel for the smiling midgets to run thru. And, watched a referree, take the time to explain stuff to the kids. This kid is mine, and the ref could see that he is no ball of fire on the field. When getting ready to start a new quarter, he gave him some tips and then kicked bach and forth with him while he practiced what he had just learned. That ref is awesome and the Y will be getting an email about how special he is.



The one that bites the dust is mine.

Then we high-tailed it home to clean up and change in time for this. Two twenty somethings with stars in there eyes for each other. And my two midgets got to be included.





Then a belly full of food at the reception. I was impressed that this young couple and all there friends had a reception without alcohol. Nice to know that the worst they could do was drive home with a wedding cake sugar rush.

And, we made it home with just enough time to try out the new rock climbing / repelling harness.

So, maybe tomorrow we will do something worth-while! Like fish or got to BPS and spend some of their moms money!:D

I have a check laying around for a few months now, what should I do with it ? You WANT it ? its 5 figures ~ I closed my 401K and withdrew my MMA ......what now $
