Thread: The PanMan is recovering

I had surgery on Tuesday. The initial thought was to remove my appendix and that would be it. Well, the Dr. had to do a little more than that. The appendix was malignant and stuck to the abdominal wall. He had to remove my appendix, part of my right colon, part of my right abdominal wall, and the lymph nodes in that area. I was on the table for over three hours and was released last night. There will be future treatment of either low level chemo and/or some radiation once all the pathology comes back but the future is bright. I AM alive and plan to stay that way for a while longer.

Now for the bad news, my trolling motor malfunctioned at the Diascund Bash and I need to send it to NC for repair. There are only a few repair places in the USA that will work on my motor. I hope to get it back before the Beaverdam Bash.

( I had a good joke about the new Bass Pro above Richmond doing appendectomies while you shopped) but I won't use that now.

I hope all goes well, maybe you can catch a ride for Beaverdam, I'm sure somebody will have a spot for the guy who knows the lake.

Bummer, man--how long did your doc drydock you? If you need chemo or radiation get your doc to prescribe some of Jeff's herbal treatments.

I had another flare up of diverticulitis, gotta go for another CT scan Monday. May need surgery myself.

Dang, Keith, hope yur doing okay man. Hopefully this is the beginning of the road to getting it all past you. Take care man and dont fret over yur TM, if it aint back by B-Dam bash we gotcha covered.

Shoer, yep started Monday. Been feeling bad all week. I have no idea what made it flare up this time.
